You'll have to use your imagination here! This is the very very beginning of a painting which is a flat paper artdoll made for my swap partner for this month. The theme was using a bird head with a human body. I've roughed out the top part of the doll on my drawing paper and have begun to fill in some areas with watercolor. This crow head with human body will be holding a small bird in her arms. The title of the doll will be MOTHER. So we will see how this turns out.
Looking forward to seeing what the rest of you are up to on What is on your Workdesk Wednesday! See you soon, *smiles* Norma
Thanks for dropping in!
Hey Norma, for reasons best known, your link over at my place doesn't work, I'm going to try it again for you - do nothing for now. If I stuff it up I'll come back and tell you! Meanwhile, lovely to see you and no, the medium, the work going on at the desk etc is not restricted for WOYWW, it's just fascinating to see what everyone's doing. Like your picture for example..I mean, how would we come up with such an idea without you?!!
ReplyDeletejust popping in from WOYWW I love your art dolls! Gorgeous and lovely!

ReplyDeletecant wait to see the end result!
ReplyDeleteI really like what I'm seeing so far - that little bird looks like it feels comfortable and safe. The "mother" title certainly works here.
