One World One Heart

I am happy to be a part of this event for this, its' final year. My giveaway is a wee bird sewn and constructed using mainly paper with metal feet. Tulle and beads and sparkle are also part of the components to make up quite a small and cute (if I get to have a 'say') bird ornament. I'll be constructing completely new birds for this giveaway and I am thinking they will have more of a spring feel so may be blue in hue rather than the winter bronze. But you will love it I am certain!!
Well a bit about me. I am an artisan who somehow always has either paper somewhere in my art, or quotes or calligraphy. These creep in. My tastes are eclectic but I am drawn to drawing these days. I recently purchased for the first time, drawings which I found on etsy and luckily for me the artist offered me a deal so to speak so I was able to obtain two drawings from the artist. I love them to bits. Anyway, I am very happy to be able to join in on this event and look very forward to seeing all of your art!! Best greetings to all, Norma

W.I.P.

Lisa is a work in progress. Here's the prototype and she'll look pretty much as she is here. She is made from fabric and has a painted face. I am looking forward to meeting her when she is complete.
