Happiness right back to you!! Thanks for the words...N. xo
What a phantastic gift, it looks absolutely fab., the card and the papers. Looking forward to see, what you're doing with it.Barbara
Me too. I am so looking forward to using these papers. There's nothing like using someone else's stash to really get the creative juices flowing hey? I've already got the seed of an idea for about 4 altered rolodex cards. We'll see what unfolds with them. Have a nice day, *smiles* Norma
oh, this is very smile making, norma... but that doesn't surprise me a bit coming from april and you... xoxo
You are right there...April gets my creative ideas pouring forth. See you soon, N. xo
this makes me happy to look at too :) They are gorgeous.
Nice to see you friend! I haven't crossed paths with you for awhile. Hope all is well with you and family and loved ones. *smiles* as always, N. xo
OMG I Love this idea!! Do you think I can borrow it??? I'd love to make one for myself
Melanie! I know...isn't this the most fun you can imagine?? Crazy fun. Well it is not my idea...I learned about it from April Cole. If you go on Pinterest you'll find boards with tons of ideas. All inspiring. *smiles* N. xo
Love this! ~*~Lisa
Lisa! Hi, how are you doing?? If anyone ever asked me who I thought might enjoy this, your name would have been on the list for sure (HA!!)~have a nice summertime my friend...goodness knows you had to put up with your share of (dare we mention it) snow this past winter season. See you soon, *smiles* N. xo
Beautiful card Norma. This is something I never altered but I just love how they are set up in the rolodex. You could have an art card every day then turn it around to continue the other side. Portable and great storage. You are one lucky girl and look at the other goodies too.Enjoy. Lesley♥
Les, what is particularly great is now I can use some of this stash and make something for the gal who sent it to me. She'll be surprised at how things were put together in ways that she may not have done. I really like the idea of just turning the rolodex wheel around and going in the opposite direction. Simple! Brilliant! Wouldn't it be fun to have a 'convention'...an altered rolodex card convention where folk could convene and bring their filled up wheels and do a show and tell and just see others' collection of art cards. In my dreams...*smiles* N. xo
all i can say is.........ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Ann! I know! oooooohhhhhh is right. *smiles* N. xop.s. are you doing anything in the way of 'Halloween' and in particular something with a safety pin through an eyeball? If you do, will you let me know? You are the QUEEN of fabulous scary, art friend.
having no rolodex cards at hand here, of his format anyway, you can send me one, i'll fill it up for you, if you like? n♥
Now, Nadine! You know that I will be putting a little stash of cards into the mails to you just as soon as I can. I'd be over the moon if you made a card for me. Yes, I love this idea! N. xop.s. I was actually wondering if so called standard business cards are the same size world wide, and if rolodex wheels and card holders are (were) in world wide use. They are definitely a North American thing. Rolodex cards come in differing sizes and the size I use for the altered art cards are for the wheel that was meant to hold business cards and the rolodex cards themselves are specifically 2.25"X4". That's what I'll send to you but I was thinking that if you want to start your own collection, I'll gussy up a card for you in return...and I have a spare card holder tray if you'd be interested. I could send that to you.Talk soon, N. xo
What a great way to store and display 'Little works of Art'.
Inspiring hey? One card leads to another...and so it goes. *smiles* Norma
oh I love this idea!! now I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for one of these...like a rotating book - Love this post!
Kristen, once you start looking for them (second hand stores and even yard sales) they do pop up. When I first started looking it took months of going to Value Village every week and sometimes twice a week. Then after I scored my first one, it seems I found one every second month. Now I pass them by. Crazy hey? N. xo
This idea is amazing! Crazy amazing! I love it! Finally I know what to do with this old roledex I've had since the 1980's!
Sandy, if you decide to trade...let me know! I'm interested. I use the size card 2.25"X4"~Have fun! *smiles* Norma
Your comments make my day! Thanks for dropping by and we'll see you soon, I hope, *smiles* Norma
